Community Voice Mail (CVM) helps people living in poverty, transition and homelessness rebuild their lives by connecting them to jobs, housing, information and hope. We do this by providing them with a stable voice mail number at no cost to use to receive vital messages that they would miss otherwise.

FREE Bus Tickets for Doctor Appointments
Travelers Aid's Medical Assistance Transportation Program provides residents of Allegheny County who are on medical assistance with bus tickets to get to their medical appointments. To enroll call Travelers Aid at 412-281-5474, or fill out an application at 103 Smithfield St.
Homeless Veterans Hotline
The Department of Veterans Affairs has created a 24 hour hotline to help connect homeless veterans with any services needed. To call dial 1-877-424-3838, or visit them on the web here.
No Cost Career Training
Bidwell Training Center provides career training at NO COST to adult residents of PA that have a high school diploma or GED. Find out how by attending an Information Session any Monday or Wednesday at 8:45 am; calling 412-323-4000 ext.150; or visiting http://www.bidwell-training.org/ .
From the Heart
From the Heart Companion Services L.L.C. provides in home care to individuals living in Allegheny, Butler, Washington, or Westmoreland County. Their services include but are not limited to housekeeping, meal preparation, bathroom assistance, and medication reminders. They are contracted with the local Area on Aging.
